Voltage source finite element analysis for a magnetic core using magnetization dependent hysteresis model

In this paper, to show the propriety of the proposed method, a simple structure with semi-hard magnetic material is tested. The magnetization-dependent hysteresis model[1] is used to consider the hysteresis characteristics. and this model is combined with finite element method[2] and these are also combined with voltage source problem. From this method, the inrush current at inductors and transformers can be simulated exactly. In addition, it is desired to apply to the analysis of general electrical machines.
