Stability in Static Magnetic Parameters for a Nickel Nanotube

An isolated Ni nanotube was studied for internal radius (a), set from 0 to 30 nm. The angular dependence of coercivity, H
_c
, and remanence, M
_r
, were correlated with the geometrical behaviors by using micromagnetic simulation with Object Oriented MicroMagnetic Framework. H
_c
and M
_r
e re modified with the nanotube geometry. Very thick or thin tubes present a drastic difference in H
_c
and M
_r
if compared to other sizes, conditioned by dipolar interactions. Results show explicitly a range for geometric parameters conditioning stability for magnetic quantities useful for applications.
