Programmed footprint analyser for detection and analysis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy

This study proposes a program based diagnostic module that serves a tool in quick and target specific detection of Diabetic Neuropathy. The whole unit has two parts-the Hardware part, which consists of a modified pair of rectangular biometric scanners integrated with micro-sized ultrasound scanners and infrared imaging units. The exclusive softwares of the above integration are further integrated with the main running code. The second part is for the Software part. This part consists of a developed code which accepts images from the instrumental integration, processes them and gives the targeted and desired output. The results expected from the examination of diabetic footprints, through this analyser proves that this analyser happens to be a single and automatic solution to the triad of neuropathies, analysing sensory, motor and autonomic neuropathies along with vasculopathy and immunopathy. The novelty of this module is it can act as a very viable automatic substitute for the manual detection and analysis of footprints, that is especially prevalent in diabetic study and diagnosis.
