A new hybrid scheme to improve security for digital message

Since the advent of network technologies the safety of secrete data over an unsecured communication channel has continuously remains as one of the hottest and challenging tasks for its researchers. However, a good amount of algorithms have been proposed by different investigators and a lot of work are in progress to offer more security in transmission of secrete data but each and every accessible algorithm performs differently and have their own unique limitations, the encryption based security technique arouse attention of attackers and may fail to secure data with sufficient time and resources. On the other hand simple steganography based methods has face issues of less inserted payload with low security. Hence, this paper analyzed a new advanced hybrid data security method based on combined benefits of crypto and steganography technique into a single form. Additionally to enhance the safety level for secrete message the proposed scheme incorporate a fragmentation process with cipher as well as employed cover media (image or video file). An experimental upshot proves the efficiency of proposed method with amplified payload capacity and high Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR).
