There are many unanswered questions surrounding Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) testing. The test is not accurate enough to either completely rule out or confirm the presence of cancer. In this paper, we review various techniques used for the detection of prostate cancer. We discuss how bioinformatics can be used to enhance the evaluation methodology.
