Continuous tracking of maximum power point of PV array with controller

The work focuses on continuous tracking of maximum power point (MPP) with a controller which proposes a hybrid MPPT algorithm which consists of fractional open circuit voltage, fractional short circuit current and perturb and observe method of MPPT algorithms. This includes choosing the battery unit whose terminal voltage depends on the current-voltage characteristics of PV panel and the maximum voltage of the load to be connected. The battery capacity is sized such that, when load is in need of supply, battery will provide power and when there is not enough charge in battery, it will be charged by PV array when there is solar irradiation, thus enabling the natural protection of battery from being overcharged or undercharged. In addition to this, the work focuses on continuous tracking of MPP of PV array with a controller throughout the work duration and creating a database of the same.
