Constructing wireless sensor network interconnection system with three-dimensional self-organization mechanism

Self-organization mechanism is very useful for wireless sensor networks with short transmission range and multi-hop routing. Many researchers have proposed a number of self-organizing algorithms for different fields and different wireless network technologies. However, most of the researches focus on the self-organization mechanism working in two-dimensional field spaces and are very rare for three-dimensional field spaces. This paper adopts a cross-layer judgment scheme to design a three-dimensional self-organization mechanism for wireless sensor networks.
