Organization of work process with external storage during execution of measurements of time-varying physical quantities

The article is concerned with carrying out tests connected with registration of the block of time-varying physical quantities in field environment. The possibilities of signal generation for their transmission, storage and display are considered. Researches of particularities of creating protocols for the exchange of information directly from PC, SD memory card and serial EEPROM memory were conducted. The main causes of failures in operations were identified. The developed flexible data management system was used in work with the information obtained from the equipment for cone penetration testing. The method allows you to connect additional sensors and accumulate test statistics. According to research results, the greatest prospects for operation in difficult conditions has using of EEPROM memory microchips with serial access, as non-volatile, compact, easy to install and allowing over one million cycles of re-recording. Laboratory and field tests of the created equipment enable to judge the operability and reliability of the proposed scheme. The method of receiving and processing of signals was used in the equipment for cone penetration testing, produced by LLC “Scientific and technical center PIKA-TECHNOSERVICE”.
