Abstract:

Highly accurate calibration and characterization process for optical switch fabrics without built-in power monitors is first proposed, substantially reducing cost and complexity for device integration and packaging. The multi-input scheme ensures method's scalability, which we demonstrate experimentally with automated implementation.
