Universal and energy efficient transistor autonomous inverter on semiconductor switches

Asynchronous motors are widely used in many industries. This is due to their relative cheapness and simplicity of production. But the realization of their full potential requires the use of additional devices, for example, frequency converters, which allow you to regulate the speed of an asynchronous motor without increasing the dimensions of the engine. Frequency converters have a wide range of possible designs, which allows one to choose the most suitable for the operating conditions and required functions. The authors considered various frequency converters and their advantages and disadvantages in this article. Also, there are original single-cycle and two-stroke transient frequency converters developed at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automated Electric Drives of AltGTU after I.I. Polzunova with special transitional keys in the presented material.
