Do You Want to Know about Smart Grid EMC?

There is a relationship between our Society's Special Committee dealing with Smart Grid (SC1) and the work of the special Electromagnetic (EM) Interoperability Issues working group (EMIIWG) in the Smart Grid technical organization called the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). The EMIIWG has published two so-called "white papers" on the need and application of good EMC performance for Smart Grid devices. Imbedded in those documents are lists of EMC test standards, and hence is a special application of EMC standards.
