Investigation of thermal mode of LED luminaire when parameters of LEDs are varied

Electrical and thermal processes, that occur in a LED luminaire, when parameters of LEDs are varied, are investigated in the article. Voltage on all LEDs of the luminaire and current, flowing through them, were measured in the nominal operating mode. Power, allocated to each LED, is determined. Calculation of temperature of LEDs chip was carried out using of developed thermal model of the LED, based on the results of measurement, in the Multisim program. It is established, that temperature of LEDs chips are differ significantly in the luminaire, which results to unfavorable of thermal modes for them and increase of probability of failure.
