Abstract:

In article indicated that with the advent of multiservice networks, intelligent network services appeared and, accordingly, a new type of traffic. There was a question of the presence of the self-similarity effect of traffic containing applications for intelligent network services. Consider the methods that allow to prove the existence self-similarity of traffic by calculating the Hurst index. For traffic analysis, the R/S method was chosen. It is proved that traffic containing requests for intelligent network services is a self-similar process. The self-similarity effect manifests itself over a wide range of time. The proposed analytical model of the intelligent superstructure NGN, which is responsible for controlling the provision of intelligent network services, taking into account the self-similarity of the flow of applications.
