New signal markers of borderline mental disorders in EEG

The paper describes new signal markers of borderline mental disorders found using the Hilbert-Huang transform: empirical mode decomposition and Hilbert spectral analysis implemented in MATLAB and R environment. To evaluate a human mental health adequately, an estimation of signal empirical modes as a decisive rule for the diagnosis is used for the first time. The research is conducted on a sample of 100 conditionally healthy subjects, and 100 subjects with borderline mental disorders.
