Fractional order transfer function for eddy current simulation

The given paper proposes the use of fractional order transfer function for eddy current simulation based on a simple model of DC generator. This method illustrated by mathematical (based on differential equations and Laplace operator form) and structural models of the excitation circuit of DC generator. The presence of skin effect for the reproduction of eddy currents is proposed. The consideration of the skin effect is proposed by using fractional order transfer functions in the computer models. FOTF Toolbox for MATLAB and Simulink used as the perfect instrument for computer simulation of proposed method for eddy current simulation.
