Deploying multydimensional cellular automata in the hash function construction

Cryptographic hash functions on the basis of one-, two- and three-dimensional cellular automata deploying pseudorandom permutation with the use of various processing rules have been developed. The proposed constructions revealed high-quality scattering properties, strong avalanche effect and sufficient processing rates in producing the message digests of 224,256,384,512 bits.
