A Precise Press-Fit System of Booster Valve Based on Real-Time Displacement Monitoring

In order to increase the efficiency and accuracy of automotive components press-fit in assembly lines, a precise press-fit system of booster valve is proposed based on real-time displacement monitoring. Firstly, the working principle of the booster valve is introduced. Then, after analysis of the design requirements of press-fit monitoring system, the mechanical structure and design principle of the control system are elaborated. On the basis of software and hardware design, real-time monitoring and control of the displacement and the pressure during press-fit process are realized by adopting the control method of A/D conversion and D/A conversion combined with high-speed voltage comparator. As a result, the press-fit efficiency and accuracy have been greatly increased and the electromagnetic performance of the booster valve can be guaranteed.
