A Channel State Information Feedback and Prediction Scheme for Time-Varying Underwater Acoustic Channels

We consider a Channel State Information feedback and prediction scheme for time-varying underwater acoustic channels.Given the time-variant of underwater channels,it is desirable to set a feedback and prediction scheme to address the problem.With a goal of reaching the actual delayed signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and replacing it by the estimated channel SNR,Holt-Winters (HW)prediction algorithm is developed to estimate the channel SNR.The proposed algorithm are evaluated in simulated channels.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms can be used as a suitable method for CSI prediction.
