Research for Equivalent Mathematical Model of MMC-DPFC

In order to improve the applied voltage level of DPFC parallel side, this paper introduces MMC into the parallel side of DPFC, and puts forward a DPFC based on MMC, abbreviated as MMC-DPFC, which has the advantages of easy modularization, easy expansion of capacity and increase of voltage level, easy batch production, small footprint and so on. First, for the inadequacy of existing facts devices, the topological structure of MMC-DPFC is put forward, and for the features of MMC-DPFC, the equivalent mathematical model of MMC-DPFC is put forward to simplify the electromagnetic transient simulation of MMC-DPFC on ADPSS simulation platform, and the control strategy to meet the requirements of the system is put forward by analyzing the principle of MMC-DPFC. Finally, in the ADPSS simulation platform, the simulation model of double line transmission system with MMC-DPFC equivalent mathematic model is built, and the validity and correctness of the equivalent mathematic model are proved by simulation experiment, and the MMC-DPFC device has good efficiency and controllability in the control system flow.
