A blind synchronization method for long code DS-SS signal

In non-cooperative environment, the sampling start time of received DS-SS signal usually isn't equal to start time of information codes, which is inconvenient to estimate parameters of signal, especially for the spread spectrum code. Therefore, to realize blind synchronization of the received signal is an important premise of blind processing for DS-SS signal. Aiming at the problems, a blind synchronization method for DS-SS signal based on 2-norm of vector space was presented. This method can realize unbiased estimation of desynchronizing time under low snr, and applies to both short and long code DS-SS signal. The simulation results verify the correctness of theoretical derivation and the feasibility of practical application.
