A study of application of ferrite sheet of periodic structure to NFC antenna

How to expand the effective range of the sensor is the critical problem to be solved in the studies of Near Field Communication (NFC) Antenna. Ferrite sheet is a special kind of ferromagnetic material which is applicable to reducing the amount of magnetic signal absorption by the metallic material in NFC so as to expand the effective range of the sensor. In this study, a special kind of periodic ferrite structure is designed, and a simulation analysis of its influence over the antenna radiation field is done. The experiment result suggests that the ferrite sheet of periodic structure can be used to enhance the intensity of the magnetic field so as to expand the range of the NFC sensor and reduce the cost of manufacturing NFC antenna.
