Application of thermally stimulated currents method to study of the special glasses structure

Thermally stimulated current (thermally stimulated polarisation, TSPC, and thermally stimulated depolarisation, TSDC) method has been used to investigate the charge motion and trap levels in crystalline dielectrics and semiconductors. Recently this technique has been also used to study alkali motion in glasses. In earlier papers we have shown that the TSPC/TSDC experiments could be applied for determination of changes of silicate glasses structure. In this paper the results of measurements of thermally stimulated currents of special glasses are presented. The subjects of investigation were photochromic, ionic conducting and porous glasses.
