Web applications for learning CUDA programming

Not only knowledge such as usage of APIs but also practical programming experiences such as calculation of thread ID are important to GPU programming education for beginners. In this paper, we classify exercises for GPU programming education into the following two types: 1) syntax practices for understanding usage of APIs and 2) semantics practices including calculation of thread ID, and then we develop a web application that automatically generates programming exercises by using templates and PHP language. We also confirm the effectiveness of our system with automatic scoring function by our preliminary experiments.
