Zero-emission renewable energy system model for a community in India

In recent years, Renewable energy sources have been gradually supported as important energy sources, either grid supported or as stand-alone systems. In this paper, the optimal design and sizing of the renewable energy resources like solar panels and wind turbine connected to the batteries is studied as a zero-emission renewable energy model. The economic feasibly of the system considering the current scenario is addressed for a small community in Aralvaimozhi, India using HOMER.
