Realizing All Logic Operations Using mRNA-Ribosome System as a Post Si Alternative

Due to technological limitations in continuous scaling of transistors to cope up with the high performance requirements of today's Si based conventional computing researchers are in dying need of some non-conventional alternatives. Biomolecular computing is evolved as a promising candidate with powers of DNA and ribosome. Among these two ribosome has the power of automation, whereas DNA can provide inherent parallelism. The automated procedure of protein synthesis occurring within ribosome can be controlled properly using mutations. This has been used to implement logic gates and sequential logic in recent days. This paper goes another major step forward by realizing every kinds of shifters and comparators using this technique.
