Genetic algorithm based reliability optimization allocation method of elevator

Elevator's reliability has great influence on safe operation, which is guaranteed by reliability design. Reliability allocation is an important link of reliability design. To ensure the lowest cost, one reliability optimization allocation method was proposed, the reliability optimization allocation model was created and the model was solved by genetic algorithm. The results showed that the total cost of elevator can be dropped by 16.91%, 14.98%, 11.46% allocated by optimal method mentioned in the paper compared with equal method, AGREE method and fuzzy method. The reliability allocation method can be used in reliability design and reliability enhancement of elevator to reduce costs, which can also be introduced to other electromechanical equipment.
