Research on injection molding machine drive system based on model predictive control

In order to further improve the response speed and working stability of the injection molding machine drive system, the control model of the injection molding machine system and the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor are analyzed. Based on vector control, the driving system of the injection molding machine is studied with the model predictive control. Simulation results show that the dynamic and static performance of model predictive control drive system is better and more robust than vector control and direct torque control with the traditional PI controllers, thus it can achieve fast and stable control.
