Field emission cells with high aspect ratio of glassy vertical emitters and electron guns based on them

The results of the research of the field emission cells with a large aspect ratio of vertically-oriented emitters made of glassy carbon for use in microwave devices are presented. The possibility of developing electron optical systems (EOSs) with field emission cathode matrices for microwave devices such as O-type microwave tubes is shown.
