Research on the key technology of large capacity UHV transformer in performance improvement

In this paper, based on the calculation and analysis of electromagnetic, flow and temperature fields, the key technologies of the magnetic circuit, cooling system and winding structure design of the 410MVA and 1000kV UHV transformer will be analyzed. The effectiveness of the new technique is verified by the experimental data. Thus, the key technology of this paper can not only meet the technical requirements of production, but also greatly enhance the overall performance of the transformer.
