Abstract:
This paper presents a prototype to prevent the topple over problem of forklifts with multidimensional features like overload detection system, and center of gravity correction mechanism. The prototype is based on kinematics and property of frictions. It was constructed in the Raspberry Pi platform. Load sensor has been used as load measurement sensor which detects the amount of load applied and gives the measurements in kilograms. The chassis of the prototype lift was constructed with stainless steel bars which is supported by four wheels. Two linear actuators were provided to aptitude the load lifting in various directions. For simulating this prototype Proteus 8.1 professional, Express PCB, SolidWorks were used and the operational codes were written in Python programming language.
