Study of M-ary phase shift keying modulation and demodulation using MATLAB simulation

This paper presents a user friendly program written to study the transmission and reception of M-ary PSK. The program lets the user set the value of M and accordingly performs the M-ary PSK process and shows the scatter plots, constellation diagrams and the eye diagrams of transmitted and received signals. The Signal to Noise Ratio is also calculated for the modulated signal. The MATLAB program is used to implement the program. The results are then compared with theoretical results. The program is intended to simplify learning of PSK modulation and demodulation in a user interactive way.
