Sentiment analytics framework integrating Twitter and Odoo ERP

Microblogging are examples of sources of Big Data. Big data Analytics, such as sentiment analytics, can be applied on microblogging to analyse what is currently happening. However, the provision of near real-time analytics using Big Data is still a challenge. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems commonly operate using a central relational database. The ERP database acts as a hub to organise structured data that are collected mostly internally via different business transactions that are recorded regularly in the ERP database. With the advent of Big Data analytics, new research directions have been set regarding ERP and Big Data integration; one of them being ERP analytics. Additionally, there are limited research available related to the integration of ERP and sentiment analytics. Therefore, the motivation of this work is set in this direction and a framework is proposed which integrates ERP, microblogging and sentiment analytics. Twitter has been used as microblogging. It was found that the accuracy drastically increased with no irrelevant tweets retrieved when using hashtags. Moreover, the proposed framework observed an improvement in processing time when adding additional nodes.
