Software compensation technology of the piezoelectric fluidic gyroscope based on DSP

This paper proposes a software compensation technology of the piezoelectric fluidic gyroscope based on DSP. The temperature compensation, sensitivity compensation and linearity compensation can be solved by selecting DSP and temperature modules, utilizing DSP to achieve the A/D conversion of the output signal and FIR low-pass filtering for the piezoelectric fluidic gyroscope and using the method of combining data interpolation with look-up table. The experimental result shows that the temperature drift, the sensitivity coefficient, and the nonlinearity decrease from ≤ 1.5mV/°C to ≤ 2.0mV/°C, from 2mV/°/s/°C to s/°C and to ≤ 1.2% and the range of operation temperature increases from 0°C~45°C to -40°~55°C after software compensation. This compensation method is simple and practical, improves the temperature performance and nonlinearity of the fluidic gyroscope and expands the application field.
