Study on distributed optical fiber heating pipeline network leak detection system

The heat supply, the heating pipe network and the heat user are the important components of the central heating in winter, the heating pipe network is the middle part of central heating in the city, which is also a weak link leak fault prone. Because the pipeline material, laying mode, complex environment, and improper construction and other factors led to the heating network leaks continue to occur, the heating pipeline network leaks will result in economic and serious security problems, it will affect the daily life of the masses. So it is urgent to realize the real-time detection and intelligent management of the heating pipe network. In this paper, the distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system is introduced into the leakage detection of the heat pipe network, and experiments were carried out to test the effect of leakage detection. Experiments show that the system wide detection range, high real-time, high precision, good effect of leak detection.
