Internet of things for neophytes: A survey

Advancement in the Internet makes things and objects to work efficient and smarter, which has constituted to form the term called Internet of Things (IoT). According to the predictions made by technical giants, researcher's and survey organization, concludes that there could be around 50 billion devices connected to Internet opens up for new innovations, research publications and development in the area of IoT. So in order to facilitate this movement this survey provides basic information on IoT to the starters. This survey mainly includes IoT architecture, protocols and operating system, finally the review is concluded with potential IoT issues and challenges.
