Study of AI and PI controller using SVPWM technique for induction motor speed control

Here, in this paper the performance of speed control of Induction Motor (IM) is done with the help of AI and PI controller and compared and by the overweighing advantage of AI controller the usual PI regulator is reinstated by AI controller nowadays. In recent days AC drives are widely utilized in industries due to their high efficiency, reliability, and high robustness, low expenditure and self-staring capacity. A new artificial intellectual scheme called Fuzzy logic Controller (FLC), is found elevated purposes in nearly all of the nonlinear schemes comparable to the electric speed drives. The fuzzy logic regulator intended to get moderately good performance compared to the conventional PI speed controller. A new artificial technique — FLC is projected here for enhanced speed control of IM with minimum loss. Here, we develop, analyze and use direct vector control method for realization of smart controller for speed control of an IM. The need to use fuzzy logic come up to is to meet high excellence output, least THD, fast reaction and high toughness. Lastly Total Harmonics Distortion (THD) produced by the inverter is compared amid conventional proportional Integral controls (PI). The results are authenticated with the assist of MATLAB Simulink.
