Comparative analysis of big ten ISMS standards and their effect on cloud computing

Data, a very basic as well as critical element of any organization. Specially more critical for those organizations involving in financial transaction like Bank. To protect data against leakage is a main focus of an organization. A large no of algorithms have been proposed and implemented to till the date but none is there about which one can say that is fully secured. The main focus of this paper is to bring those standards into light which are useful to make data more secure and side by side to discuss their effect on cloud computing and its market. These standards are: ISO27001, SOA, BS7799, PRINCE2, PCIDSS, COSO, COBIT, OPM3, CMMI, ITIL [5].
