Redundancy optimization problem via comparative analysis of H-PSOCOGA

The goal of the paper is to resolve Constraint Redundancy Allocation problem (RAP) by using Hybridization of Constraint Optimization Genetic Algorithm with Particle Swarm Optimization (H-COGAPSO) and results are compared with Heuristic Algorithm and COGA [20]. RAP is a prominent NP hard issue which evaluates system reliability under some given constraints. These methods are used to allocate the best redundancy approach for each segment to boost up the reliability of the system under cost constraints. The objective of this paper is to achieve the best solution and optimize the reliability of the system by comparing results. The programming of these method has been done using matlab tool and CPU time taken by these programs are also compared.
