Study on practical dynamic security region of power system based on big data

In light of the difficulty and strenuosity of the present method calculation of power grid, the rough principle of safety and stability (the security region for the operation of power system) what we have got, the limitation of individual's experience, and the ignoring of coupling on different dimension when simplifying SR into a superposition of multiple one-dimensional space. Regardless of the memory and manual search when applying, it is difficult for the dispatchers to monitor so many limit conditions at the same time. Hence, this paper shows a new concept on practical dynamic security, proposes a solving method of practical dynamic security region and defines a whole variable set of control variables including the security region of power flow interfaces. It turns out that the obtained dynamic security region considers the coupling of power flow interfaces, treating which as a key property in the taste of Dispatch Department, incorporating other non-flow interfaces to ensure the accuracy of obtaining SR rather than varying with operating points. Moreover, we carried out simulation on the connection system of CEPRI-36 testified the validity and convenience of the proposed methods.
