The steady-state operation map of a semi-dual-active-bridge converter

In this work, the steady-state operation map of of a semi-dual-active-bridge converter is fully explored. Different operation modes are identified and the boundary condition between different modes are found. Related soft-switching behavior in each mode are discussed in detail. Experimental results are presented to validate the existence of the the operation modes. It is shown this converter is suitable for high voltage unidirectional application. Comparison with previous similar topology is also included to highlight the converter's advantageous feature.
