A power efficient communication protocol for wireless sensor network

Power conservation is the prime need in wireless sensor communication. Due to limited power source and continuous operation characteristic, the power consumed by the node devices are very high. In concern to higher Power conservation, the nodes are to be operated on a efficient manner to conserve maximum power level. In this paper, a new communication protocol for wireless sensor network is proposed, where a “Knock” string is used to control the node operation, conserving power of communication. The simulation result for the proposed approach illustrates the significance of the proposed approach in power conservation.
