Uniform power distribution for low side lobe automotive applications at 24 GHz

This paper presents a unique approach for the feed of the antenna network in terms of reducing the side lobe level at a frequency of 24GHz. Array feed network is a design with an equal power divider for four elements array. Simulation results shows that VSWR is equal to 1.03, which means that power reflection loss is equal to −36.43dB. Hence, the radiation efficiency achieved is −0.95dB. The results also demonstrated that this simple design lowers the side lobe level more than −20dB in both planes.
