While energy systems integration is widely acknowledged as a promising source of flexibility to the electric power system, a more detailed understanding of interactions between the considered systems is necessary for system operators to see and understand potential merits. In this paper, visualization techniques in 2D and 3D are proposed to depict both the impact of flexibility exploitation as well as unused (remaining) flexibility. With the help of these, system operators who are responsible for dispatch of, e.g., generation units and district heating systems can judge the match of their currently available flexibility to short-term necessity of operating reserve.
