Establish electrostatic discharge simulation environment combined with near-field measurement

As the time progress, the number of failures caused by ESD had been increasing in engineering. ESD seems to be more important than the past. It is necessary to find a way to look for the current path. This paper purposes a measurement environment of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) by the near-field to look for the current path and find out the direction of charge dissipation. There are two important steps in the paper. The first step is to set up the environment and make the ESD model by Advanced Design System (ADS). The second step is to design and measure different types of transmission line. These two steps are to check up the environment and understand the different situation of transmission lines caused by ESD.
