Intracranial focusing and strong scattering effects of transcranial vortex microwave beam

Intracranial abnormal tissue microwave imaging (IATMI) is an effective method for timely diagnosis of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH). For better imaging quality, we study the intracranial focusing and strong scattering effects of transcranial vortex microwave beam (TVMB). We find by full-wave simulation in this paper that the topological charge (TC) of the vortex beam can effectively control the electromagnetic energy localized distribution of TVMB within human head.
