SAR reduction of bio-tissue in cellular communication

Mobile phones are being used extensively for wireless communication, and its usage is proliferating day after day. Different radio frequencies are used in cellular communication between the mobile and the base stations. The electromagnetic radiation at Radio Frequency (RF) can have an adverse effect on bio-tissue. This paper has estimated the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of bio-tissue at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz as well as analyzed its variation for different distances. Moreover, an electromagnetic absorber has been placed between the cell phone and the bio-tissue in order to reduce the value of SAR for mitigating the harmful effect when the bio-tissue is exposed to electromagnetic radiation. The simulation result indicates the objective has been achieved since the observer has been able to decrease the value of SAR up to 96.06 percent and 77.39 percent at RF 900 MHz and 1800 MHz correspondingly.
