Real-Time phasor-only state estimation with topology processing as OpenPDC adapter

This paper develops the PMU-data-only State Estimator (PSE) and Topology Processor (TP) as an OpenPDC adapter. By introducing zero injection buses into the Topology Processor the PSE can estimate a larger portion of the network. The implementation as an OpenPDC adapter allows real-time processing of live PMU data received through a standard IEEE C37.118 data stream and can readily be implemented into existing phasor data processing infrastructures.
