Identification of Var-Voltage Characteristics Based on Ambient Signals

An ambient signal based var-voltage characteristics (VVC) identification method is proposed with the var-voltage sensitivity estimated as its linear approximation and the sensitivity of var-voltage ambient fluctuations estimated to confirm its convexity. The proposed method and its potentials for nonstationary voltage control is validated through simulation.
