Further enhancement of e-service security means by introduction of SOC in public authorities

Digitalization of services provided by public sector provides citizens with benefits of interaction with government without even living their own homes. These services being rolled out in a e-service form allows for online processing of sensitive end-user information and is extremely demanding for adequate security measures. Utilization of technical products only for this matter is becoming obsolete approach. This paper gives an overview of common organizational mistakes in public sector organizations, summarizes modern technical approaches as well as analyses further evolution of security domain in the field of E-Government.
