Tensile and Bending Stress Tolerance on Round MgB2 Wire Made By In Situ PIT Process

We measured the critical tensile strains at room temperature and the critical bending strains of in situ round MgB2 wires, and both critical strain values agreed well with each other. The characteristic I-V curve was seen at the Ic measurement of the critical strained wire of which the filament was thought to be partly damaged.
